Our mission

To give everyone on the internet a set of time tools that are free, fast, private and pleasant to use. Every calculator, timer and clock on this site is written with the same care you\'d expect from a paid application — but nothing here will ever cost you a rupee, euro or dollar.

What makes us different

• Blazing fast. Every tool loads in under a second on any modern device.
• Client-side. Your data — laps, timers, favourites, birthdays — never leaves your browser.
• Works offline. Installed as a Progressive Web App, TimeStopwatch keeps working with zero internet.
• Ad-supported. A handful of unobtrusive ads pay for the servers so we never need a paywall.
• Twelve languages. English, Español, Français, Deutsch, Português, Italiano, Русский, 中文, 日本語, हिन्दी, Türkçe, العربية (with proper right-to-left layout).

Our story

TimeStopwatch was born from a simple frustration: the internet is full of stopwatch and timer sites that are slow, riddled with intrusive pop-ups and stopped being updated years ago. We set out to build the opposite — a modern, minimal, extremely fast collection of time tools that respects the user.

Every tool on the site is written from scratch with modern web APIs (performance.now(), Web Audio, Wake Lock, Notifications, IANA time zones) and rigorously tested on both desktop and mobile.

The technology

We\'re built on Next.js 15, React 19, Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui. The full source is hosted on a fast VPS and delivered globally via CDN. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate usage (never individual users) and Google AdSense to run the ads that keep the lights on.
